STATPAK™ SB
Static Shielding Bubble Laminate

This bag combines static shielding with physical protection. Transparent static shielding bag film is laminated to an antistatic polyethylene bubble wrap. Standard STATPAK BM static shielding film forms a Faraday cage around your product while the inner layer of antistatic bubble wrap provides excellent physical protection. Both of these materials are qualified to Military Standard B 81705 C.

Sizes

Bags are available to order in any size from 4½ " x 6" to 30" x 30" and from 113mm x 150mm to 750 x 750mm.

Physical Properties

  • Backing Layer: 35 micron co-extruded natural film 1650mm wide.

  • Top Layer: 25 micron co-extruded natural film 1650mm wide. 

  • All polymers used comply with B53412: 1976: Type A class H, Defence standard 93.36/Issue 1 Type QX-D.

  • LDPE is chemically unreactive and is regarded as being biologically inert. There is no release of noxious fumes from LDPE at ambient temperature

Electrical Properties

  • Surface Resistivity (both surfaces) < 10¹²Ohm/sq 

  • Static Charge Decay Rate(5Kv to 0 volts): < 2 seconds 

  • Also available in large bubble with a top layer of 60 micron.
